"Can you fill these empty barrels with something fun?" That was the challenge Kjetil presented me with over a coffee a stormy Tuesday morning in October. "How about something strong and dark?" I wondered. "25% dark malts, 30% rye, 28P". "That will never work", said Kjetil. 1 kg malts/L, 48 hours of brewing and two years in old Armanac barrels later, I fel free to say:"Well, wouldn't you know... it worked!"
