Barley Wine
Our 17th beer is from Big Sky Brewing Company in Missoula, Montana, and is a barrel-aged release of their wheat wine, Power Wagon.
With three different strains of wheat, comprising 53% of the grain bill on this brew, aromatics of wheat bread, and bakery yeast are common with this one. Some honey sweetness, and some fruity yeasty esters compliment the bigger body, and some boozy, earthy bitterness.
